The CV and the Application
One page, built for somebody entering security without a security job history. Six adverts read line by line, the artefact put where a job history would go, the write-up marked, and the funnel tracked honestly — including what sixty rejections do and do not tell you.

Briefing
C1 ends with a plan and a chosen artefact. Then you have to apply for something, and that is where most career changers stop. This segment produces one page. Not general CV advice — every lesson is specific to somebody with no security job history, and if a paragraph would work for a marketing role it has been deleted. You read six adverts for one role and sort every line into a gate, a worry or decoration. You build a keyword sheet from the employers' own words rather than a list somebody sold you. You put the thing you built in the position a job would occupy, with the failure bullet that makes the other three believable. You mark your write-up against the six checks a reader applies in four minutes. Then you track the funnel on eleven columns and let the sheet, rather than your mood at eleven at night, decide what you change. Two positions run through it. An advert is a list of worries and a CV is a list of answers, which is why the answers get written before the document does. And nothing here is promised: nobody can tell you that a document plus persistence produces a job, so the last lesson gives you the arithmetic, the three rejections that carry information, and a stopping point you choose while you are calm.

Everything in this module is timed on purpose. Four minutes of reading, twenty minutes of tailoring, four minutes to write a covering note. The timings are not a gimmick — an application process that…

This module is the instrument, not the encouragement. The sheet exists so that decisions about what to change are made by rows rather than by how Sunday night feels, and the last lesson makes no…
